The Organization of the United Nations announced that a high-level delegation from the organization made an overseas visit to the town of al-Areesh and the border point of Rafah in Egypt.
During the visit, the delegation became acquainted with the current humanitarian situation in the specified regions, where conflicts and human rights violations continue. UN representatives met with local residents, civil society organizations, and local authorities in order to better understand the problems faced by the region's inhabitants.
One of the main tasks of the delegation is to provide assistance to those in need of humanitarian support, as well as to raise awareness of the vital needs of the local population.
