The football club "Al Ahly", holder of the championship title for the fourth time, played a draw 1-1 with the hosts of the field, the team "Farkou", today, in the middle, at the Burj al-Arab stadium in Alexandria, as part of the ninth round of the Egyptian football league.
The marker Zaher Metarji (23rd minute) opened the scoring for "Farkou", while Imam Ashour (45+10 penalty) equalized for "Al Ahly". The club, which holds the championship title, raised its score to 19 points, currently leading the tournament table after the fourth draw in nine matches, in which it has not yet suffered defeat, during which "Farkou" has gathered 11 points, occupying ninth place.
"Farkou" took the lead in the 23rd minute, when Tunisian Azmi Huma hit a pass from the left side to Metarji, who made a powerful strike from the penalty area, which Shenawy could not respond to, and the ball found its way into the net, announcing the hosts' advantage.
In the fifth minute of the added time of the first half, Ashour equalized for "Al Ahly" with a penalty kick using the "Panenka" method in the center of the goal.
