The Mohammed bin Rashid Library is participating for the first time in the Cairo International Book Fair, in its 57th edition, under the theme 'Whoever stops reading for an hour falls behind for centuries.' The library is showcasing its services, facilities, latest initiatives, and publications, which reflect its vision to empower knowledge, enhance cultural exchange, and explore cooperation with publishing houses and knowledge institutions. This participation is part of the library's strategy to strengthen the cultural and intellectual presence of the United Arab Emirates in Arab and international forums. The program includes a comprehensive cultural agenda, intellectual and dialogical sessions covering the Arabic language and knowledge services. It also features field visits to the Library of Alexandria and several cultural and media institutions in Cairo. 'We see this participation as an extension of our strategy to build sustainable cultural partnerships and expand access to quality content, contributing to supporting reading, empowering communities, and enhancing cultural dialogue among peoples,' said Dr. Mohammed Salem Al Mazrouei, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Mohammed bin Rashid Library. The library has brought its latest publications to the fair, reflecting the UAE's approach to building the individual and enhancing their role in society.
