Egyptian composer Hany Mena expressed his great appreciation for the star Amr Diab, emphasizing his prominent artistic position in the music scene. During his meeting with media personality Yasmin Ezz, presenter of the "Kalam Nas" program on MBC Egypt channel, Mena explained that Amr Diab possesses artistic intelligence and an impressive ability to continue, considering him an extension of the generation of giants, such as great singers Abdel Halim Hafez and Umm Kulthoum. He also possesses great potential that enables him to present distinct and constantly renewed works, despite not being a singer. Regarding his first impression of the artist Sherine Abdel Wahab and her artistic career, Mena stated that when he first met Sherine, he told her: "You do not deserve to be a singer, it is better to be a folk singer," confirming that he found in her unusually strong artistic abilities that make her a star of folk songs by right. The composer added: "Then she made the song 'Jarrah Tani', and that was her real start, she broke the world and began her real artistic career," explaining that Sherine has a strong artistic personality that makes her works widely accepted by the audience.
