During the Arab League meeting in Cairo, it was confirmed in a joint Arab statement that 'full support for the Syrian population and its resistance in the fight against occupation and repression.'

The representatives of Arab countries emphasized the inadmissibility of violations of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria, and also discussed the current situation in the region and the prospects for resolving the conflict in Syria.
