The authorities of Cairo recently received a proposal from Americans to revive the ceasefire negotiations between the movement "HAMAS" and Israel. The proposal was voiced in the context of the resistance, which was highlighted after a series of racially motivated clashes in Palestine.
As is well known, the parties have already exchanged rocket fire and strikes from the Israeli army on the Gaza sector in connection with the conflict in eastern Jerusalem. In turn, Egypt decided to join the process of regulating the situation, conducting negotiations with both parties in Cairo to discuss possible ways for restoring a ceasefire in the region.
"We hope for a constructive dialogue and readiness for a peaceful agreement with the participation of all involved parties," - was stated in a statement published after the meeting of Egypt's representatives with a U.S. delegation.
