The Russian news agency reported that Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu arrived in Cairo on Sunday at the head of a large delegation in the fields of arms and nuclear energy for military talks. The agency, citing the press office of the Russian Security Council, said in a statement: 'Priority topics include prospects for implementing agreements reached at the highest level, including military cooperation.' The agenda also includes meetings with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Aati, Minister of Defense and Military Production Lieutenant General Abdel Majid al-Saqr, as well as with heads of security services and other special agencies. The agency reported that Shoigu is also scheduled to meet with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and the National Security Advisor.
