The National Electoral Commission, headed by Judge Hazem Badawi, held a press conference on Monday at the Commission's headquarters to announce details of the first phase of elections for the House of Representatives. Badawi confirmed that the Commission will not cover up any violations, and all complaints and appeals received from candidates, observers, and citizens are subject to full examination and investigation. He also stated that the number of complaints so far has reached 88, and they will be reviewed within the set deadlines. Badawi emphasized: «No deputy will come except by the will of the voters». The Commission clarified that it has the full right to take all necessary legal measures, even if this requires the complete or partial cancellation of elections in some constituencies.
