Sharjah is participating in the 57th Cairo International Book Fair. Egypt's Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli visited the emirate's pavilion, where he was presented with books containing special dedications to the country's president. This event strengthens the cultural ties between the two nations.

As part of its participation in the 2026 Cairo International Book Fair, Sharjah has presented its pavilion. The Prime Minister of Egypt, Dr. Mostafa Madbouli, visited the stall, along with a delegation led by the Executive President of the Sharjah Book Authority, Ahmed bin Rakad Al Ameri. Al Ameri presented the Prime Minister with a copy of the book 'Collection of Histories' by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, with a special dedication to President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah el-Sisi. Al Ameri also presented a copy of the book 'Tell Them She's Here' by Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Sharjah Book Authority, with a special dedication to President el-Sisi and his wife. Al Ameri stated that the exhibition is a significant step in strengthening ties with Egyptian publishers and cultural institutions. He emphasized that Egyptian knowledge producers are a cornerstone of Sharjah's participation in the Sharjah International Book Fair, reflecting the depth of Egypt's cultural presence and its role in the Arab world. He added that meetings with leaders and symbols of knowledge in Egypt reflect the course set by Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi towards enhancing Arab partnerships in the publishing sector and consolidating Sharjah's position as an effective platform for global cultural exchange. The Sharjah Book Authority is participating in the 57th Cairo International Book Fair, running until February 3, through an official pavilion that reflects Sharjah's cultural weight and its comprehensive knowledge project to support the publishing industry. The pavilion introduces the Authority's initiatives and programs in the field of books and knowledge production, enhancing the emirate's status as a regional center for developing the publishing system and Arab cultural movement. The Sharjah Book Authority's pavilion witnessed significant interest from Arab and international publishers, as well as the presence of several cultural figures and officials.
