The Egyptian Professional Clubs Association decided to hold Zamalek's next matches without fans due to collective insults from their supporters during a recent game against Al Ahly.

The working group of Egyptian professional football clubs decided to hold the next two matches of Zamalek without spectators due to mass disturbances that occurred during the game of the team against Al Ahly. The match will take place on Saturday, within the framework of the 15th round of the Egyptian football league.

It was also announced to fine the Al Ahly club 200,000 Egyptian pounds and to prohibit its fans from attending the match of Zamalek at the Northern Tribune when the team plays against the Guard of Hudud. According to the decision, a one-match suspension was designated for Zamalek's player Nabil Imam, known as "Dunga", and a fine of 5,000 Egyptian pounds for the third yellow card, while the club was fined 200,000 pounds for the disturbances caused by its fans.

It was announced that the ban on the presence of spectators extends to the next two matches of Zamalek in the 16th and 17th rounds of the league. Previously, the Al Ahly club had submitted an official statement, in which it reported on the complaint about the behavior of Zamalek fans towards Imam Ashour, a player of Al Ahly.

The match between Al Ahly and Zamalek ended in a draw without goals last Saturday at Cairo Stadium in the 15th round of the championship. At that moment, Al Ahly occupies second place in the tournament table with 33 points, ahead of Zamalek, which is third with 28 points, while leading teams - Pyramids with 36 points.
