Renowned journalist Akhmed Shubir stated that at present the focus of the "Al Ahli" club is concentrated on continental and world tournaments.
Shubir declared: "Al Ahli has a large ambitious plan. They want to win the Arabian Cup for club champions in Doha. Their goal is to defeat the Qatari club Al Hilal, which has extensive experience participating in such competitions."
He also added that the tactical planning algorithm requires the team to include new players who can introduce tactical playing techniques in those tournaments, in addition to signing a contract with a strong striker.
