The Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports has announced that it will cover the treatment expenses of Egyptian champion Ahmed El-Gendy, a member of the Egyptian national modern pentathlon team, as well as the costs of his travel and treatment in Germany.Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, stated that this support reflects the state's commitment to providing the utmost care for its champions and enabling them to continue achieving accomplishments worthy of its name globally, especially in light of the new amendments.El-Gendy is set to undergo arthroscopic surgery on both his right and left shoulders, followed by an intensive treatment and rehabilitation program from November 19 to December 7, aiming to fully restore his fitness and ensure his physical readiness for upcoming international competitions.Cairo: "Al-Khaleej".
