Al Ahly Advances in FIFA Intercontinental Cup

In the framework of the Africa Cup, Asia and the Pacific Ocean, the Al Ahly team defeated Al Ain with a score of 3-0, advancing to the final of the FIFA™ Club World Cup against "Real". The Cairo club will now compete in the semifinal with the winner of the pair Pachuca or the champions of the Copa Libertadores from CONMEBOL. The match will take place on December 14 at Stadium 974 in Doha.

Hernan Crespo introduced Matiás Segovia into the game, however, Al Ain experienced difficulties creating dangerous moments in attack due to Al Ahly's solid defense led by Ramy Rabia. Near the end of the match, Omar Kamal failed to score from a penalty, and Mohamed Afsha converted the penalty, sealing the victory with a score of 3-0. The winner of this pair will then vie for the title of the FIFA Club World Cup against "Real Madrid" at Lusail Stadium on December 18.

Al Ahly dictated their conditions at the Cairo international stadium from the very beginning. In the 32nd minute, an inaccurate pass from Yahya Nader was intercepted by Ussama Abu Ali, who quickly passed the ball to Khalid Ismail. After the break, Emam Ashour showcased his mastery with an impressive long-range shot, further establishing Al Ahly's dominance.
