The Ministry of the Interior announced in a statement that an investigation identified the two individuals in the videos, the famous bloggers Sultangy and Excelans, residents of Damietta Governorate. When confronted, they admitted to having tested some food products in several labs to ensure they met standard specifications and filmed the videos at one of their homes, posting them on their social media pages to increase view counts and achieve financial gain. Legal measures have been taken in the case.
