A tragic incident occurred in Egypt's Sharqia province. It began with the discovery of a young doctor's body in his home and ended with his mother's death in a hospital a few hours later. According to local Egyptian sources, security authorities in Faqous city launched an investigation into the circumstances of finding the doctor's body, who was in his thirties, in his house in the village of Jahina. The initial examination and forensic examination indicated that the death resulted from the doctor taking his own life using a "laundry rope" inside the house. Regarding the motives, preliminary investigations and testimonies from close associates indicated that the deceased was going through a severe psychological crisis due to his mother's critical health condition, who was in the intensive care unit fighting for her life. In a subsequent development, relatives of the family confirmed that the mother breathed her last in the intensive care unit of one of the province's hospitals a few hours after her son's death, unaware of his fate. Security sources stated that the doctor's body was transferred to the hospital morgue under the supervision of the Public Prosecution, which initiated investigations to ensure there was no criminal suspicion in the incident. Permission to bury both bodies was granted after the necessary legal and medical procedures were completed.
