According to Israeli media reports, a rocket was launched by Houthis from Yemen on Sunday, which fell on Sinai Peninsula in Egypt, not far from the resorts of Sharm el-Sheikh...
Witnesses reported that the rocket fell in an uninhabited area near the resort town of Sharm el-Sheikh. At this moment, there is no information about casualties or any material damage. The Egyptian authorities have not yet commented on the incident.
Notably, the rocket strike occurred shortly after the coalition led by Saudi Arabia announced the interception of an unmanned drone that was directed towards the city of Hamis-Mushait in southern Saudi Arabia.
'This incident underscores the necessity of international intervention in the conflict in Yemen and the strengthening of efforts to cease the Houthi aggression in order to ensure peace and stability in the region,' stated one of the observers.
