A tragic family crime occurred in Rashid city, Egypt, where a man in his thirties was killed by his wife following a dispute at their home, according to initial investigations. The victim was taken to Rashid Central Hospital with stab wounds to the chest but died upon arrival. Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident. According to the investigation, the argument began while decorating for Ramadan when the husband refused his wife's request to buy cigarettes, leading to a verbal altercation that quickly escalated into physical violence. The wife used scissors to stab her husband in the chest. The victim's mother stated: "My son endured all her abuse for two years of their marriage. She hit him with various objects, including needles, knives, and scissors, but he endured it because he loved her. Today we lost him in this tragic way." The Egyptian Public Prosecutor has ordered the wife's detention for four days pending further legal proceedings.
