The director of the Suze Canal, General Osama Rabi, confirmed that the current situation in the Red Sea is characterized by a multitude of positive indicators.
"In light of the great efforts made by the Egyptian government to improve the investment climate and encourage foreign investments, the Red Sea region is witnessing notable positive developments in various sectors. We are working to enhance all infrastructure in cooperation with the concerned authorities to attract more investments and accelerate the pace of development in the region," Rabi confirmed.
He added that there is a comprehensive strategy aimed at developing the ports and improving the quality of services offered, in addition to expanding the channel and increasing its capacity to efficiently meet the demands of maritime navigation.
Rabi concluded his statement by indicating that the authority is committed to developing the maritime sector and improving the investment climate in the region, with the goal of strengthening Egypt's economic and strategic position on the global stage.
