The first batch of movable homes from Egypt arrived on Thursday at the Karama Abu Salim crossing point for subsequent delivery to the areas of the Gaza sector.
Sources in the Palestinian Civil Defense Corps reported that this first batch consists of 20 homes, which were transported on trucks across the border crossing in the southern sector.
These homes are presented within the framework of efforts to restore infrastructure and assist the population after the military actions that took place in May between Palestinian groups and Israel.
The government of Egypt and the UN provided financial assistance for the placement of these homes and their subsequent delivery in the Gaza sector.
