The director of the Suetsk Canal announced the opening of the International Annual Conference on Maritime Transportation and Logistics (Marlog) this Sunday, noting that various challenges have not become an obstacle for the Suets Canal to implement ambitious development plans thanks to the support of the President of the country, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. He emphasized that this helps maintain the canal's readiness and improve service quality for clients.
General Osama Rabi, head of the Suetsk Canal Authority, reported that since the beginning of this month, 47 vessels have changed their route to pass through the canal instead of the route through the Cape of Good Hope. He suggested that even more vessels will return to using the Suetsk Canal under stable conditions in the region.
"We have faced unforeseen challenges," the head of the authority noted.
