
The Ministry of Petroleum of Egypt announced on Monday the launch of new investment opportunities for the development of gas fields in the Mediterranean Sea, as well as six exploration areas in the Gulf of Suez and the Western Sahara.
According to the words of the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources of Egypt, the country continues to attract investments in the energy sector, offering attractive opportunities for foreign companies. He also noted that the planned projects are aimed at increasing oil and gas production, which will positively impact the energy security of the country.
Among the main goals of the new projects is to increase production, improve energy efficiency, and attract new technologies for work in the fields. This will allow to increase the share of coal production in the country and make energy more sustainable.
One of the key elements is ensuring sustainable development of the gas sector, which is one of the strategic goals of Egypt in the coming years. In addition, the new projects will help create jobs and support the economic development of the country.
