The International Initiative for Accelerated Industrial Transition (Industrial Transition Accelerator - ITA) has announced the joining of Egypt. ITA focuses on accelerating the process of transitioning to a sustainable and low-carbon economy in various countries.
The director of ITA, Lawrence Tupper, noted that Egypt's joining the initiative will help create jobs, contribute to economic growth, and aid in reducing greenhouse gas emissions. In turn, the minister of industry and trade of Egypt expressed his happiness about the opportunity for his country to participate in this initiative.
"Joining ITA represents for us an important step in supporting our drive towards ecological sustainability and transforming our industry," he noted.
