According to the Central Bank of Egypt, the US dollar rate was 30.90 pounds for purchase and 31.05 pounds for sale. The euro traded at 33.15 pounds for purchase and 33.35 pounds for sale. The British pound was valued at 38.90 pounds for purchase and 39.20 pounds for sale. Experts note that the rates remain stable amid measures taken by the Central Bank to control the currency market.
