Egypt Approves Budget for Fiscal Year 2026-2027

The Egyptian Council of Ministers approved the budget for fiscal year 2026-2027 with expenditures of 5.1 trillion pounds. General revenues are expected to reach 4 trillion pounds.

The Egyptian Council of Ministers stated in a communiqué on Thursday that it approved the budget for the fiscal year 2026-2027 with expenditures of 5.1 trillion Egyptian pounds (96.7 billion dollars). The Council said that Egypt expects to achieve general revenues of four trillion Egyptian pounds during the fiscal year 2026-2027.
