The International Bank for Reconstruction published a report "Poverty, Prosperity, and Planet" which states that the elimination of poverty, as defined in the Sustainable Development Goals, requires additional efforts. This report emphasizes the need to accelerate sustainable development to achieve the important goal of regulating climate change and improving social equity.
It reflects the most pressing challenges and problems that our world is facing, and suggests strategies to overcome these difficulties.
"We have a historic chance to make the world after the Covid-19 pandemic more equitable, sustainable, and resilient to climate change," said the president of the International Bank for Reconstruction.
