
In a televised appearance, Egypt's Minister of Petroleum, Karim Hafez Badie, stated that the country does not plan to increase prices for petroleum products in the coming six months.
Badie noted: "We calculate that we will be able to maintain stable prices for gasoline and other oil products in the near future to alleviate the burden on the population in conditions of economic uncertainty."
Emphasizing the importance of the social aspect of this decision, the minister stressed that this measure will help strengthen the welfare of citizens and reduce pressure on the population.
