The world director of football development of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), Arsène Wenger, launched a talent project in the Egyptian Football Federation yesterday. Wenger visited the headquarters of the Egyptian Football Federation together with its president, Hany Abu Reda, as part of an inspection visit to the headquarters and the new center for national teams on October 6.
At the press conference, quoted by the official account of the Egyptian Football Federation on the "X" platform, Wenger noted: "There is a very conducive environment for football competition here, and we, at FIFA, are pleased to observe the development project for global competition. I found very appropriate details for the development of football here. I am here with a team from the international federation to observe the development, and the place and atmosphere in general greatly help this."
Wenger noted that in Egypt there is a great passion for football, and the country has young talents and excellent opportunities.
