Egyptian star Menna Shalakhy has begun preparing to start filming her latest artistic work, the series 'Before and After', scheduled to air during Ramadan 2026. This marks a return to leading roles after a period of absence. Filming is expected to begin in the coming days. The series consists of 15 episodes and is set in a social context. It is written by Muhammad Suleiman Abdelmalek, directed by Mark Adel, and produced by Maha Selim. Joining Shalakhy in the work are: Emad Ziyada, Sawsan Badr, Rima Al Baroudi, Mahmoud Abdel-Moghny, Leila Al-Arab, Eman El-Sayed, Hany Adel, and others. It is worth noting that Menna Shalakhy announced her marriage to nutritionist Dr. Ahmed Taimor on November 11th of last year at a family ceremony attended only by the two families and her friend, artist Ahmed El-Sadany.
