The Acting Professions Syndicate in Egypt mourned the actress Samia Al-Alfi yesterday, who passed away at the age of 72 after a battle with illness. Minister of Culture Ahmed Fouad Khenu also condoled her in a statement, saying: "She was one of the actresses who had a distinguished artistic career, and succeeded in leaving a special mark on the public". The late actress was the widow of actor Farouk Al-Fishawi (1952-2019) and the mother of actor Ahmed Al-Fishawi. She was born in July 1953 and graduated from the Faculty of Arts. She began her journey in the seventies through television and theater, then cinema.
Among her series: "Million's Journey", "The White Flag" and "Nights of Al-Hilmiya".
