In a tragic event that shook Egypt, a wedding ceremony that was supposed to mark the beginning of a new and happy life turned into a major mourning following a horrific traffic accident in Minya province in Upper Egypt. Last evening, the accident claimed the lives of a bride and groom, along with two other people. According to details, a car overturned in the Beni Mazar area, north of Minya province. It was carrying the bride and groom on their way to their new home after the wedding, along with the bride's sister and another person. The accident resulted in the immediate death of the bride and her sister from severe injuries, while the groom and the driver sustained serious injuries. The injured were transported to a hospital to receive necessary medical care. The bodies of the deceased were moved to the hospital morgue under the disposal of the relevant authorities. A report of the incident was filed, and the Public Prosecution was notified to conduct an investigation. However, the tragedy did not end there. The groom passed away in the hospital due to his severe injuries, joining his bride on what was supposed to be the 'night of his life'. Grief hung over social media in Egypt, as pages turned into a space for condolences. A touching video spread, showing the bride's father in a state of collapse, crying over his daughter with painful words, saying: 'I didn't get to celebrate you, my daughter... my beloved father's daughter'.
