Egyptian actress Fatima Kshri passed away on Sunday, considered one of the most prominent supporting actresses in Egyptian cinema and television. The Egyptian Actors Guild confirmed the news of her death. Kshri's death came after a long artistic career during which she left a distinctive mark despite the limited roles she appeared in in dozens of artistic works. According to Egyptian media, the real name of the late artist is Fatima Sayed Allah, and she acquired the nickname 'Kshri' from the koshari cart she owned with her husband, a name by which she later became known in artistic circles. Chance led her to the world of acting. The late Fatima stumbled into the world of acting by chance one day when she stopped by the filming of a work and asked its creators for a chance to participate, after which her artistic journey began. Her first appearances were in the films 'The Grandsons' Clash' and 'Execution Squad' in 1989. Her subsequent appearances continued in a number of cinematic, television, and theatrical works, where she appeared in small roles that were well-received by the audience, contributing to cementing her presence in artistic memory. Among her most prominent cinematic works are the films: 'No Retreat, No Surrender' with Ahmed El-Fishawy, 'Shikamarra' with Menna Shalaby, 'Best Times' with Hind Sabry, Menna Shalaby, Hanan Turk, and Khaled Salih, 'The Security Groom' with Adel Imam, and 'My Aunt France' with Abela Kamel and Mona Zaki, in addition to a number of Egyptian series.
