Salah stated that he began to look at life differently, having decided to refrain from blaming circumstances or external reasons for his failures.

"The book I read changed my thinking radically. Instead of blaming the trainer and surrounding circumstances, as many Arab footballers do, I decided to extract lessons and evolve," Salah said.
