
For the time since the launch, over 3000 physiotherapy sessions have helped patients restore mobility and improve their quality of life. The director of the floating hospital O.A.E. Mohamed Said Al-Shehhi noted: "Thanks to the dedication of qualified medical teams and the use of advanced equipment, we have helped thousands of patients and conducted hundreds of critical operations." The floating hospital O.A.E. in Al-Arish, Egypt, provided comprehensive medical assistance to Palestinians relocated from the Gaza Strip during its first year of operation. Treatment was provided for over 7700 patients, more than 2700 operations were performed, over 3000 physiotherapy sessions were conducted, and the installation of 23 prostheses was also carried out. The hospital began functioning on February 24, 2024, at the port of Al-Arish within the framework of the humanitarian initiative O.A.E. "Operation Honest Knight 3" under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The hospital continues to provide medical assistance around the clock with the participation of the emirate's medical and administrative teams, as well as Indonesian medical personnel. We remain committed to providing the highest standards of medical and humanitarian assistance, alleviating the suffering of the injured and offering hope for recovery. In addition to medical assistance, the hospital organized social and recreational activities, including programs for children, aimed at uplifting their spirits and hope. The hospital is equipped with advanced surgical and rehabilitation blocks, including a radiology department and laboratories, accommodating 100 beds for patients and an additional 100 for accompanying relatives. Over the past year, the team successfully conducted complex procedures, including laparoscopic operations for patients with severe injuries. The hospital also expanded its service spectrum, opening a physiotherapy department, where up to 15 operations and 25 physiotherapy sessions are conducted daily. Additionally, medical and humanitarian delegations were organized in the hospital, as well as Emirati and international dignitaries, supporting the continuing assistance of its mission.
