Raafat added that the family hid their father's grief over the death of their mother for some time, but he felt this and fell into deep sorrow, unable to hold back tears. "Twenty hours after my mother's death, we discovered that my father had left this world due to the heavy grief he was feeling," he said. A cardiologist from Egypt, former director of the National Heart Institute, Jamal Shaban, warns about the danger to life from the syndrome of broken heart. He previously stated that "grief can lead to heart attacks and sudden death," emphasizing that "broken heart syndrome is a scientific fact and a medical syndrome."
