Al-Azhar called for support for Egypt and Arab countries in the process of restoring the Gaza sector. He also urged world leaders to express their statements on other countries with wisdom.
Support for Azhar Islamic scholars was expressed in a resolution adopted at the end of the Azhar session, which they praised the Egyptian government for its efforts, aimed at achieving a ceasefire and starting the restoration process in Gaza.
The Secretary-General of Al-Azhar, Grand Imam, Tjad al-Din al-Hiber, urged the authorities to take measures to prevent ceasefire violations and hold violators accountable.
"We must act with wisdom, so as not to bring harm to our country or other countries," noted the Grand Imam.
