The Council has obligated all Egyptian media outlets to ban the appearance of former Egyptian national team player Ahmed Hassan, known as 'Mido', on charges of questioning the sporting achievements made by the Egyptian national team over the past years. Egyptian media reported a statement from the Council stating that the ban decision came due to what the Council considered an offense and questioning of the achievements made by the national team during the period from 2006 to 2010, during his hosting of a famous talk show on social media platforms. It is scheduled that Mido will be investigated before a final decision is made regarding his appearance, according to the Council.
