The Egyptian Journalists Syndicate has issued a decision to ban former Al Ahly player Osama Hasni from appearing on all media outlets in Egypt. He has also been referred for investigation over professional and legal violations attributed to him during his presentation of the 'Al Ahly Stadium' program on Al Ahly channel. In a related move, the Egyptian Supreme Council for Media Regulation has summoned the legal representative of Al Ahly channel. The Syndicate stated in an official statement that the decision is based on violations of Law No. 93 of 2016, as well as a breach of the journalistic code of honor, according to reports from the Media Observatory and the Registration and Licensing Department, which monitored transgressions in Osama Hasni's performance.
