
The President of Egypt, Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi, met on Thursday with the director of the Central Intelligence Agency of the United States, William Burns.
During the meeting, current international issues were discussed, including the situation in the Middle East, the fight against terrorism, and other security matters. Both sides emphasized their readiness to strengthen cooperation between Egypt and the United States.
"We discussed a broad range of issues that concern our two countries, including economic cooperation, security challenges, and stability in the region," noted the President of Egypt.
Such issues as the fight against terrorism and cyber threats, as well as the situation in Libya and other countries in the region, were also addressed. The meeting took place in a friendly atmosphere, and both sides expressed hope for strengthening partnerships in various fields.
