Kahraba Reveals Shocking Reaction After Match Incident

Mahmoud Abdel Manaam "Kahraba", a footballer of the Egyptian club Al-Ahli, revealed shocking details after his team's match against Pachuque in the intercontinental Cup of the Cube. In an interview with the channel "MBC Egypt", he confessed that he was on the verge of suicide due to a missed penalty that deprived the "Reds" of the opportunity to advance to the final against Real Madrid.

Kahraba stated: "After the match with Pachuca, Imam Ashour took my phone and deleted all social networks except WhatsApp. Out of grief, I wanted the day of the terrible judgment to come, and until now I have not been able to recover since that day. That night I took 3 sleeping pills without consulting a doctor, spoke only with my mother and father, went to bed and wished I could fall asleep again. On that day, I could have committed suicide. In the morning, after opening my phone, I saw 10 thousand messages on WhatsApp with words of hatred addressed to my address and to my mother's address, threats against me. Since then, I completely deleted WhatsApp and have not used the standard calls again."

He added: "My place in the penalty shootout against Pachuca was the fourth, the coach determined the order, and Imam Ashour was not among the first five. I was preparing to hit the ball in the center of the gate, and I don't know why it went to the other side."

"Until now, I have not been able to recover after the match with Pachuca... When I received the opportunity to take the penalties, I took sleeping pills so I wouldn't miss again," Kahraba shared.
