The video of the presentation of the Moroccan footballer Ashraf Ben Sharki at the Egyptian club Al-Ahly sparked widespread discussions on social media, especially among his fans of the traditional rival - Zamalek. Because part of the Zamalek stadium was visible in the background of the player during the shooting, some consider this a premeditated provocation aimed at Zamalek fans. They expressed their discontent by writing that "Ben Sharki's journey began before the Zamalek wall," while another added, "The video of Ben Sharki calls for a statement from the management of Zamalek!".
Ashraf Ben Sharki, a 30-year-old forward, played for Zamalek from 2019 to 2022. After announcing the deal, the Moroccan international did not remain on the sidelines and made the first statement, saying in his "promo" about joining: "For Cairo - one color... for Africa - one champion".
