
One of the young football talents of Egypt is approaching a move to the English Premier League this season amid the success of Egyptian players in the higher division of English football.
Attacking midfielder "Ibn" from the Egyptian league Omar Elazab, 18 years old, is heading for a trial at the English club "Nottingham Forest." This was announced in an official statement from the club.
"Elazab catches the eye of the management of 'Nottingham Forest' with his performances for the youth national team of Egypt, excelling at the right winger position," the statement reads.
In recent years, Egyptian footballers have demonstrated outstanding results in the English Premier League. Mohamed Salah from "Liverpool" has set several records in the championship and at his club. Sammy Marsi is the captain of "Ipswich Town," while Omar Marmush has moved to "Manchester City" from "Eintracht Frankfurt."
