Zamalek's Coach Jose Peseiro Calls for Patience

The manager of the Zamalek football team, Portuguese Jorge Pesiero, stated that he did not have enough time to influence the players' performance after the recent appointment. Pesiero became the head coach instead of Swiss Christian Gross and led the first match under his guidance, in which Zamalek drew 1:1 with Petrojet in the match of the 14th round of the Egyptian Premier League.

In an interview on Sunday, Pesiero said: "I accepted the obligation only a few hours ago and I need enough time to change the tactics of the game and integrate my style into the team." He added: "The team showed good play in the second half of the match, and hope is not lost yet."

The coach clarified that the draw with Petrojet was not influenced by thoughts about the preceding match with Al Ahli, noting that the team does not think that way. He emphasized that the preparation of the players for the next key match is now beginning and that the main goal is to achieve a positive result.

Zamalek occupies the third place in the Egyptian league table with 27 points, while Petrojet is in the ninth position with 18 points.
