The working group of professional football clubs in Egypt announced a penalty in connection with the events that occurred in the 15th round of the Egypt Football Championship, during which the clubs Al Ahly and Zamalek were indicated for the behavior of their fans in the "Derby" match, which took place on Saturday and ended in a draw 1:1.
The decision was to fine the club Al Ahly a sum of 200 thousand Egyptian pounds and restrict the presence of its fans at the match with Zamalek in the third tier of the stadium during the game with Garden City in the 16th round of the Nile Championship due to mass misbehavior of the fans against the opposing team.
Also, the working group confirmed the disqualification of Zamalek player Nabil Emada "Donga" for one match and imposed a penalty.
