
The working group, initiated by the Egyptian Professional League under the presidency of Ahmed Diab, announced the introduction of penalties in relation to the match between Al-Ahly and Zamalek.
Penalties were imposed following incidents that occurred during and after the game between the two clubs. As noted in the statement of the working group, the penalties include financial sanctions and the holding of games without spectators.
"We strive to ensure discipline and order in football matches, therefore we do not take responsibility for the acceptance of such measures," said the chairman of the working group.
According to specialists, similar penalties are aimed at maintaining discipline and safety on the football fields of the country.
