The working body of the Egyptian professional league made a decision to change the match schedule in the framework of the Premier League for the 2024-2025 season in connection with the introduction of summer time.
This decision was made in order to reduce the temperature during the time matches are held and to ensure comfortable conditions for both players and fans. The temperature in Egypt during the summer can reach high levels, therefore, moving matches to cooler times of the day helps create a more comfortable environment.
"This decision was made in the interests of all participants, to ensure safety and comfort during the games. We hope that these changes will make football even more attractive and accessible to everyone," noted the chairman of the working body.
The working body also reported that the new match schedule will be published on the official league website and on social media.
