
The working group of the Egyptian Professional Football League announced the sanctions imposed on the teams of the first group in the third stage final of the Egyptian football championship. The match between the teams Masri and Zamalek was rich in disciplinary actions. Abdelrahim Dagmu was suspended for one match and fined 5000 Egyptian pounds for a third yellow card.
A warning was sent to the Masri team, and a monetary penalty of 30,000 Egyptian pounds was imposed for attempting to assault a member of Zamalek's management. Zamalek also received a warning and a fine of 30,000 Egyptian pounds for attempting to assault their own management staff against player John Ibika and members of Masri's management.
It was decided to suspend two matches of Zamalek without spectators in the next two rounds of the final stage of the Nile Championship with a fine of 200,000 Egyptian pounds for expressions of dissatisfaction from Zamalek supporters regarding the referee's decisions. Conversely, Mahmoud Ali from the Haras El-Hodood team was suspended for one match and fined 5000 Egyptian pounds for a third yellow card.
Also, Ahmed Sami from Pyramids was suspended for one match and fined 5000 Egyptian pounds for a third yellow card. The working group also decided to suspend one match and fine Ayman Moku from the Siramik Club for a third yellow card, to be suspended for one match and fined 5000 Egyptian pounds for Rajab Nabila from the Siramik Club for a third yellow card, and to also suspend one match and fine 5000 Egyptian pounds for Hisham Salah from Al Ahly for a third yellow card.
