
News that the club "Zamalek" has released its Portuguese coach José Pesiero became known yesterday. The reason for the dismissal was unsatisfactory results of the team, which occupies third place in the Egyptian championship table. In an official statement on its website, the club reported on the "agreement of the club and José Pesiero to terminate the working contract based on mutual agreement".
According to information from sources in the club's management, temporarily for Pesiero, the position of head coach will be taken by Ayman Ramadi.
"Zamalek" parted ways with Pesiero after the Cup of Confederations from Africa, occupying third place in the Egyptian Premier League, leaving seven points behind the leader, "Pyramids", and six points behind "Al-Ahly", its main competitor.
