The head coach of Ceramica Cleopatra, Ali Maher, confirmed his team's readiness for the match against Al Ahly on Thursday, in the semi-final of the Egyptian Super Cup, hosted in the UAE. Maher held a press conference on Wednesday, stating: "We are fully prepared for the Super Cup matches, and God willing, we will present football that befits Egyptian football." He added: "The players are in excellent physical condition, Ceramica's character has changed, and our ambitions are boundless." Maher also noted that defender Sadam Samir is fully ready to play, while Karim Al-Deeb will be prepared for the second match. It is worth mentioning that Ceramica Cleopatra currently leads the Egyptian Premier League table with 26 points, three points ahead of closest contender Al Ahly. This will be the second match between the teams this season; in September, Al Ahly won 1-0 in the league. The winner of this match will face the winner of the other semi-final between Zamalek and Pyramids, which will also be held tomorrow.
