Al Ahli secured a 2-1 victory over Ceramica Cleopatra in the semi-final of the Egyptian Super Cup on Thursday at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain. The team advanced to the tournament final. Al Ahli's first goal was scored by Mahmoud Hassan 'Trezeguet' in the 19th minute with a header from a cross by Ahmed Sayed 'Zizo'. Marwan Otman equalized for Ceramica Cleopatra in the 41st minute, finishing a one-on-one opportunity following a pass from Moroccan Ahmed Bulkhaj. Slovenian Nejc GradiĊĦar scored Al Ahli's second goal in the 52nd minute, assisted by Moroccan Ashraf Ben Sharqi. In the final, Al Ahli will face the winner of the Pyramids vs. Zamalek match, which is also taking place on Thursday evening.
