Egyptian Zamalek player Ammar Nassar is competing with ten other players, including Barcelona's Lamine Yamal and Arsenal's Declan Rice, for the 2025 FIFA Puskás Award for the best goal in the world. FIFA has announced the final list of 11 goals nominated for the award. Nasser scored the scissors-kick goal against Al Ahly while playing for Farco in last season's Cairo Cup Final. Other nominees include Alessandro Di Francesco's goal for Cagliari against Venezia, Brazilian Allan's goal for Vitória against Cruzeiro, Mexican Pedro de la Vega's goal for Cruz Azul against Seattle Sounders in the CONCACAF Champions Cup, Argentine Santiago Montiel's goal for Independiente against Rivadavia, Mexican Carlos Oranta's goal for Querétaro against Atlas in the Liga MX, South African Lucas Ribeiro's goal for Sundowns against Borussia Dortmund in the Club World Cup, Indonesian Razky Redho's goal for Persija Jakarta against Arima in the Liga 1, and Kevin Rodríguez's goal for Kasımpaşa against Rizespor in the Süper Lig.
